LocationHitchin Lavender, Hertfordshire
A 4 minute exposure of the rows of lavender at Hitchin Lavender, Cadwell Farm, Ickleford. Hitchin lavender is probably my favourite local spot in Hertfordshire, providing a few weeks of fantastic opportunities every year.
The long exposure, giving movement in the clouds at the top left of the frame, adds a counterpoint to the extreme detail of the lavender at the bottom right of the image. The sun had just dropped behing some clouds, out of frame, making the resulting image relatively softly lit, but with a range of lovely blue/purple tones filling the frame.
The above image is available to purchase as a fine art Giclée print, ready to be mounted and framed. Using the drop down menu below, please select the size you require and complete your details on the following page to contact me and I will respond as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).
Please see the Prints page for further information regarding my fine art prints.
