I took the opportunity to get out in some late March snow to go for a wander around my local woodland. On the way, I came across this large, old tree, isolated in the snowy landscape by the white out behind it.
The key to this image, for me, is the limited colour palette – it’s virtually black and white, except for a few yellow/brown hints in the bark, which really adds to the sense of isolation of the tree.
