A seemingly rare wintery spell in late 2017 afforded conditions allowing me to capture a shot I’d been thinking about for a number of years. I pass this copse of trees on my daily commute and I had been waiting for an opportunity to capture them in this minimalist form, isolated against the snowy surroundings.
