Some rolling farmland on the chalk escarpment near Therfield, Hertfordshire. This is one of my favourite spots in Hertfordshire so I return frequently under different weather conditions or in different seasons. Caught at the right time of year, with the sun just catching the crests of the land, it reminded me of ‘The Palouse’, a spot popular with landscape photographers in the northwestern USA, albeit on a smaller scale!
